Gananoque
Gananoque or "Gan" as the locals call it is a quaint little town with so much to offer. It's like something right out of a story book. With so many unique local shops and bakeries to explore and adventures to go on, it is definitely a spot you will want to check out while you are in the area.

Gananoque is appropriately called "The Gateway to the 1000 Islands" which in our opinion since moving here is one of Ontario's best kept secrets. If you haven't explored all that 1000 Islands has to offer we highly recommend that you take some time on your stay with us and check it out.

Kingston & Brockville
Before moving to this area a few of our friends said "You have to explore Kingston & Brockville when you get settled in" and they were not wrong. Both Kingston and Brockville are about a 35 minute drive from Bluestar Lakefront Cottage rental and both cities have so much to see and do!
