Bluestar Lakefront Cottage - Reservation Policy

​

We are looking forward to hosting you at Bluestar Lakefront Cottage...but first...we have to get some of these details out of the way.

Guests are required to book a minimum of 2 nights up to a maximum of 14 days. If you would like to book a longer period than 14 days please contact us at info@bluestarlakefront.com.

All bookings must be made using a credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

 

An INITIAL PAYMENT of 50% of the total value of your stay including fees and taxes will be due upon booking.

The remaining 50% balance, or FINAL PAYMENT, will automatically be deducted from the card on file13 days prior to your arrival.

 

A SECURITY DEPOSIT of $300 will be placed as a "HOLD" on the credit card used for the booking 3 days prior to the date of your arrival. After your departure a thorough inspection of the property will be conducted prior to the next guests arrival. The $300 security deposit hold will be released 7 days after your departure if no damage, lost or stolen items or issues are found.

All renters will be required to read and sign our Rental Agreement which will be provided during the booking process.

 

Direct Booking Cancellation Policy 

(does not apply to AirBnB bookings, see our AirBnB booking page for those details here) 

Guests will receive a refund of one hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 taxable cancellation fee which is charged by the payment processor) if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.

 

Guests will receive a refund of fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 taxable cancellation fee which is charged by the payment processor) if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.

 

For cancellations made less than14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

A limited number of life jackets are available on premise however as the renter and guests, you must ensure that you have a life jacket that is the right size for you and all members of your party. Renters are responsible for bringing their own properly sized watershoes.

Bluestar Lakefront Cottage owners and hosts are NOT responsible for any injury, bodily harm, drowning or death that occurs to guests during their stay at Bluestar Lakefront Cottage. It is the responsibility of the renters and guests to ensure that all safety measures are in place before using any motorized or non-motorized appliances, tools, water equipment or floating devices that are on premises. ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS allowed.

Bluestar Lakefront Cottage owners and hosts are NOT responsible for any loss or damage to any of our guests belongings including cars, boats, tools, equipment, clothing or other valuables that are with you during your stay.
