Accomodations

This Cottage Vacation Rental is ideal for 4 - 6 people:

  • Single Couples: Sleeps One to Two Couples

  • Single Families: Sleeps families of 2 parents and up to 6 kids

  • Groups of friends (Especially Girls Getaway weekends!)

  • Pet's are allowed too! Maximum of 2 dogs allowed on premises

Bluestar Lakefront Cottage can also accommodate (a bit tighter):

  • Multiple Couples: Sleeps 2 - 3 Couples (2 in master bedroom, 2 in second bedroom bottom bunk & 2 on the sofa bed)

  • Friends: Sleeps up to 6 Adults comfortably (2 in master, 2 in second bedroom & 2 on the sofa bed)

  • Pet's are allowed too! Maximum of 2 dogs allowed on premises

Bluestar Lakefront Cottage Wraparound Deck

Bluestar - Wraparound Deck

Many people have been quoted as saying "Wow, this really is a million dollar view!" and we can assure you it is! These pictures don't even do it justice. This wrap around elevated deck is one of the main attractions of the Bluestar Lakefront Cottage which is directly on the shore of the Seeley's Bay side of Gananoque Lake.

Amenities Supplied:

  • Outdoor patio furniture including a coffee table,1 love seat, 1 single chairs, 2 ottomans and 1 swivel chair.

  • 1 large smoker

  • 1 large stainless steel propane BBQ (propane is supplied with extra on hand if you run out)

Bluestar - Backyard, Waterfront & 30 ft. Dock

Bluestar Lakefront Cottage (pictured on the right) has a dedicated 30 ft. dock for exclusive use by guests and their family. This backyard oasis has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the cottage.

Summer Stay Amenities Supplied:

  • Fire pit

  • 30 ft. dedicated dock with stairs for easy access to lake

  • 1 four person Canoe with 2 paddles 

  • 2 adult size single seat kayaks with paddles 

  • 2 kids size sit in kayaks with paddles (max 125 pounds)

  • 1 Adult inflatable stand up paddle board with paddle and pump

  • 1 Adult rigid stand up paddle board with paddle

  • 1 Youth rigid plastic stand up paddle board with paddle

  • 1 four person pedal boat (aka paddle boat)

  • Life jackets of various sizes*

  • Safety kits/bailing bucket kids to be used when going out on any non-motorized or motorized water equipment

  • Various floating inflatable water toys, goggles and pool noodles

  • 8 beach towels

  • 1 bag of complimentary firewood is supplied with additional wood available onsite for $10 per bag

Winter Stay Amenities Supplied:

  • 1 snow saucer

  • 1 2 person snow saucer

  • 2 Adult GT snowracers

 

*Please note: There are life jackets in various sizes on site. It is up to the guest to ensure that the life jackets supplied are the correct size. If not, the guest is responsible for supplying life jackets for their family and children. For summer guests planning on swimming in the lake water shoes are REQUIRED to protect your feet from the bedrock at the bottom of the lake and are not supplied by the host. Summer guests MUST bring their own water shoes.

Families and guests wishing to fish must bring their own fishing and ice fishing supplies.

Bluestar - Kitchen Amenities

The Bluestar Lakefront Cottage kitchen is equipped with all of the necessities you will need at home all bundled up into modern cottage experience with an amazing view overlooking Gananoque Lake.

  • Stainless Steel Fridge, Stove, Range, Microwave, Toaster & Dishwasher

  • Dishsoap, handsoap, dishwasher detergent and other cleaning supplies

  • Pots, Pans, Cookie Sheets, Mixing Bowls & Frying Pan

  • All cutlery, utensils, plates and cups (including children's plastic items)

  • Tupperware, ziploc bags and plastic wrap 

  • Mixing bowls and all baking necessities including a hand mixer, blender, bread maker, small George Forman and waffle maker

  • Corkscrew, Can Opener & Bottle Opener

  • Table cloth, paper towel & napkins

  • Garbage and recycling bags and recepticle

  • Microwave popcorn, Hot air popper with popcorn kernels

  • Smores kit with marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers

  • Orange Pekoe, peppermint and lemon ginger tea bags

Bluestar - Living Room

The living room at Bluestar Lakefront Cottage is an excellent place to sit back and relax. It's a perfect space for playing board games with the family or having some snacks while watching a movie...but don't spend too much time in the living room...GO OUT AND ENJOY THE OUTDOORS!

Bluestar - Dining Room

Wine and dine with your family in this spacious dining area with "million dollar views" of Gananoque Lake. The dining room set up is perfect for any occasion including Easter, Thanksgiving, Canada Day and Christmas celebrations.

  • Dining Table seats 4 - 6 (A leaf is integrated into the centre of the table, simply pull on each side and the leaf can be folded out and clicked into place)

  • Table cloth

  • Gorgeous view of the lake with surrounding windows and sliding door access to the wrap around deck

Bluestar - Primary Bedroom

With a big comfy queen size bed that comfortably sleeps 2, this primary bedroom is a perfect relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city. With many cute little touches to make you feel at home, this room is sure to give you the break you need from reality.

Bluestar - Second Bedroom

We are happy to provide a child friendly space with toys, crafts and activities for kids of all ages. Although this room is focused on creating a positive experience for kids, it can also accommodate 3 adults.

  • 1 Bunk Bed - DOUBLE BED OVER DOUBLE BED so 2 people can sleep on the top and on the bottom

  • Pillows, Bedding & linens supplied (extra linen stored under the bed)
